Now that I have accepted Christ

 

If you just prayed that prayer or something like it, you have just become a Child of God. Now, not only are you a child of God, but you have been redeemed from an eternity of Hell and separation with God. And now the Kingdom of God rests upon you, and is in you by the seal of the Holy Spirit. God bless you and please email or write us if you called out to Jesus to Save your soul. Also, it would be good now to find a local church, and share with the Pastor of the decision you just made with the Lord. It is also good to read the Holy Bible, which is the sole Word of God. You can begin anywhere, but we suggest you start in the book of John or Matthew learn more about the glorious gift you just received. It is also good to join a bible study nearby at your local church to learn more with a group of believers such as yourself. And even better, share this Good News of the Love of Jesus Christ with a friend or a family member. Maybe they haven’t heard the Good News yet, that Jesus came to save them, not to condemn them, Amen?

 

You need to read the bible.  No one thinks a love letter is boring or ineffective.  Actually, the opposite, they can’t wait to peel back the letter, and read every simmering morsel inside of it.  Same with the Word of God! The bible is God’s love letter to you!  It is His manual for life, and in it, lies many promises, wisdom, and revelations that are waiting for you even now.  Don’t understand it?  The Holy Spirit will help you to understand the Word of God.  Begin to ask the Holy Spirit to open your mind to the scriptures. In addition, go to church and ask someone from your local church to help you to understand.  Join bible study groups, and so on, and you will soon take off into being a person who is well versed in His Word, and you will know there is Power in the Word of God!

 

You need to be filled with Power from on High!  There is a promise that Jesus will Baptize you into the Holy Spirit and Fire.  Matthew 3:11  and Acts 1:8   The Power of the Holy Spirit will empower you to live a Godly life, and will also empower you to fulfill the Great Commission in your life.
